Review consensus
Crimson Desert Enhanced is an enormous, visually spectacular action RPG whose strongest qualities are its breathtaking world, fluid exploration, energetic combat, varied side activities, and constant sense of discovery. Its ambition also creates its biggest problems: the story is disjointed, systems and controls are frequently overwhelming, tutorials are unclear, inventory management is restrictive, and boss fights can feel unfair. Players who enjoy sprawling sandboxes, experimentation, and mechanically dense worlds will find plenty to love, especially fans of The Witcher 3, Red Dead Redemption 2, Dragon’s Dogma, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Those seeking a tightly focused narrative or polished combat balance may find it exhausting.
